Work Experience

Resume

Prof.Ding joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST), Nanjing, China, where he became a Lecturer in 2007. In 2014, he was promoted to Full Professor in NJUST. He was appointed head of the Department of Communication Engineering, NJUST in September 2014. He is the author or coauthor of over 110 technical papers. His current research interests include computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic scattering and radiation. He has also been granted an nominate award for “One Hundred Excellent Dissertation” in 2007. He has been selected as the candidate of “New Century Talent Support Project” by the education department in 2009,of Qing Lan Project for Excellent Young Teacher by the Jiangsu province , and of Distinguished Young Scientists by the Jiangsu province in 2012. He is the recipient of the Foundation for China Excellent Young Investigators presented by the National Science Foundation (NSF) of China in 2015. He has also been granted First Prize of Graduate Education Reform Achievement in Jiangsu Province in 2015. He is the receiver of the Second Ten Thousands Plan for Young Top Talents in 2015, Young Yangtze River Scholars by the Ministry of Education in 2017, Young and Middle-aged Leading Talents in Scientific and Technological Innovation by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2018. The applicant has been granted 16th Jiangsu Youth Science and Technology Award and honored Top Ten Science and Technology Starsin 2018. He is a recipient of the National Excellent Youth Fund by the National Science Foundation of China in 2020.
